- What are you reading? On Jamie's recommendation, I just downloaded an e-copy of Why Smart People Hurt from my local library. I can't wait to dive in. On the fiction side, I am on a mystery kick and am currently making my way through the Vera Stanhope series by Ann Cleeves.
- What are you watching? Doc Martin, Doc Martin, and more Doc Martin. I can't really explain it, there's just something about that show that I love. I can watch the episodes over and over, and I often do have it on in the background while I'm working. It's comfortable, and comforting, like a soft woolly blanket.
- What are you listening to? I listen to the live streaming stations on my Apple TV a lot. There is just sooooo much available in all genres. I just recently heard about Songza as well and I'm looking forward to trying it out. I think the only new music I've purchased lately is When It Was Now, by Atlas Genius, a fantastic album.
- What are you loving? Blogging, mainly. I just started in October and I'm having a blast. I am so incredibly late to the party, but I don't care. After a couple of hard years of illness, both physical and mental, I am truly enjoying diving in and putting myself back out there, so to speak.
- What are you wearing? I beg your pardon! Oh, I see. You don't mean right now, but in general. (ha ha.) This is one area that I really want to change. Because I work from home, I don't have to dress up, so I spend most of my time in old yoga pants, but I think that's stifling my creativity a bit. I dressed better when I was in university than I do now, so something needs to change. I LOVE the jewellery and accessories that Jamie wears, so I think I will take a cue from her. Maybe I just need to pretend that I'm on camera when I'm working...
- What are you creating? A newsletter for my blog, and a freebie for subscribers. I also want to offer writing "packages" for potential clients rather than just having hourly rates, so I'm working out what those will be. On the personal side, I just recently cashed in some Air Miles for a sewing machine and I can't wait to dive in and relearn all that I've forgotten since high school. I don't think I'll become the next Stella McCartney, but I might be able to hem some curtains if nothing else.
- What are you looking forward to? Meeting all sorts of new people this month through this blogging challenge.
